german grand prix
with schumacher on the pole in a ferrari at his home grand prix, this past weekend's formula one race looked to be another snooze-fest. in reality the race was one of the first truly exciting f1 races i've seen in ages with crashes, clashes, disintegrating car parts, tyre failures, and most importantly a lot of passing on the track!
alonsi and button fought a great battle for second place, with button eventually taking the position after having qualified 13th. schumacher won, setting yet another record, but the racing down the positions was the best i've seen in years.
for once i'm looking forward to the next race!

definitely one of the best races this season so far! the hungarian curcuit is where alonso won his first race last season. hope he does just as well!!
qualifying should be interesting- passing on the hungaroring is notoriously difficult so the teams will no doubt run lighter fuel loads to get a better spot for the start of the race.
