my apartment
as i'll most likely be moving (moving- yuck!) before too long, i thought i'd post some photos of my apartment as it is now before everything gets packed away.
one of the things i like about my building is that the living areas are large and the layout is quite open, unlike a lot of the other newer buildings i've seen. this was important in my apartment choosing process as i wanted to be able to fit in a larger tv with a dolby 5.1 system.
here's a view facing the other way, showing the kitchenette and entrance to the bedrooms. it's difficult to take indoor photos as even zoomed all the way back rooms look small.
in thailand some theaters give out small magnet movie ads every time you see a movie. as you can see from my fridge over the past few years i've seen a lot!

Ha... our fridge is also covered in movie magnets from Emporium. Wanna do swapsies?!
Nice apartment... what general area is it in? I like my living room, but I just can't get my left and right speakers in a good location, which sucks :)

baba - i noticed that some of the vendors outside of mbk are selling the magnets at night. could be a collectible in the future! they'll be nice souvenirs from thailand
him - my apartment is on sukhumvit soi 8- one of the nicer non-serviced apartment buildings i've found. i'd love to get a large projector, but very difficult to find a suitable apartment. for a laugh a friend of mine and i checked out a penthouse on soi langsuan. was a cool 40m baht but was a quad-plex and had a 2-story white wall in the living room- woulda been perfect for a projector. the place also had a small pool (more like giant jacuzzi) on the roof... total party pad! by the time i'll be able to afford a place like that i'll be too old to enjoy it, methinks. =)
Hey Jeremy, nice apartment. Or should I say crib? Heh
Like you and Baba, my refrigerator's also dressed up in movie magnets. I have 2 extra Bridget Jones's Diary magnets, wanna trade? ;)
