thunderstruck
en route to bangkok last week there were few clouds to speak of except for these two enormous thunderheads. managed to snap a photo with the sun behind the larger cloud as we flew past. click on the thumbnail or here for the full-size version (538k, 2592x1944).

Damn your camera is good, or you had an exceptionally clean plane - I've never gotten a shot that nice out of a window!
This picture is going to go into my desktop background automatic rotations album.
its just my little sony t1. the window was exceptionally clean- none of the usual scratches and pits.
on the flight over to canada there was an amazing view of the night sky. i tried to take a time exposure but it was impossible with nothing to prop the camera on and the movement of the plane.
